For individual customers purchasing a new flag, we are happy to recycle your old Flagmakers fabric product free of charge!

1. Remove all non-fabrics from your products (headers, ropes, clips, eyelets, other plastic or metal parts etc.)
2. Clearly label product or package for recycling
3. Add a note with your name and email address so we can send you a $5.00 reward voucher for your next purchase
4. Post to Flagmakers Ltd. 8 Waione Street Petone, Lower Hutt 5012

What happens to your products?

All recyclable products are consolidated with other industries' products and shipped to Australia to be made in various textile products and carpet underlays.

Other Green Initiatives

Using Recycled Fabric Products

About 70% of our fabric products are made from recycled yarn meaning that there is very little virgin yarn used in our whole production cycle.

Reducing Plastic Packaging

We have eliminated all virgin plastic packaging and only use recycled or compostable packaging.

Any soft plastic we receive from suppliers are sent to soft plastic recycling.  We are constantly working with our suppliers to reduce or eliminate their plastic packaging.

Bulk purchasing

We hold higher stocks of products thereby reducing the amount of transport associated emissions.  We also benefit by being able to supply large orders more quickly. 

Electricity

We only use green energy generators' power.
